Fostering the implementation of shallow geothermal hybrid heating and cooling systems in the Danube Region – Danube GeoHeCo

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • The main objective of Danube GeoHeCo project is to increase the penetration of shallow geothermal energy in the Danube Region through initiating a robust transnational cooperation of promotion and support actions. The purpose of proposed activities is to achieve ambitious EU energy and climate targets by 2030 and consequently 2050. The project will foster the integration of shallow geothermal solutions into existing fossil-fuel based domestic HC systems, raise awareness and enhance capacities.

EnTReC main contribution

  • During 1st stage, beta version IT tool levels specification, architecture elaboration and modules definition and testing will be done with joint support from TUCN.
  • In the 2nd stage, will organize training for trainers back-to-back with PP meetings.
  • Elaborate pilot investment definition reports after the IT decision support tool testing for each of the selected pilot sites conducted in their regions
  • Responsible for mechanical and electrical project design investment documentations preparation of the pilot investment definition reports for its region
  • Pilot investment process with the study visits report and pilot investment reports are done with contributions of TUCN.
  • Competence centers are responsible for providing inputs for the following chapters: development program (R&D and education /training development actions), institutional background (role of knowledge centers: R&D, scientific and educational organizations).
  • Responsible for presenting Transnational Action Plan and its main proposals and recommendations at national conferences organized for “end-users” of SGE utilization (contractors, manufactures and customers of SGE based hybrid HC systems)
  • Responsible for introducing innovative results of Transnational AP at national scientific conferences.
  • Responsible for organizing the national webinars in its country
