MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • Envision and develop and ICT based platform for monitoring, prediction, optimization and control of the energy flow of a building
  • Maximization of the building self-consumption and RES utilization;
  • Developing revolutionary innovations in RES technologies by maximizing system performance at a lower cost;
  • Small-scale testing and validation of the final solution in scenarios as close as possible to real life;
  • Optimal integration of RES technologies and related subsystems, using artificial intelligence (AI);
  • Creation of customer-oriented business models to exploit the potential of the proposed solution in several energy markets in Europe

  • Demonstration pilot site – TUCN
  • Coordinator of an WorkPackage – RE-COGNITION use cases and test scenarios definition at each project pilot sites;
  • RES Integration in the building (BIPV, mCHP and EV charger)
  • Perform automated cognitive energy management actions using the RES installed and the existing BEMS;
  • Implement the proposed scenarios and validate the “RE-COGNITION solution” for each pilots site;
  • Evaluate the benefits of RE-COGNITION under real operating conditions, for the purpose of development and commercialization of the proposed solution.
