A holistic framework for Empowering SME’s capacity to increase their energy efficiency, 847132-SMEmPower Efficiency-2019-2022

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • Improving the knowledge and skills of at least 720 energy experts from SMEs;
  • Creating and implementing an Education & Training program for energy efficiency specialists in 8 European countries;
  • Training of at least 800 people in SMEs regarding applicable methods of reducing energy consumption;
  • Development of an online energy management platform that will assist users in managing energy management data and facilitate communication between participants;
  • Development of Monitoring & Targeting and Measurement & Verification tools within the online platform in order to quantify the reduction of energy consumption and costs.
  • Provide, during the project’s period, energy surveys, technical assistance and concrete energy savings proposals in at least 160 selected SMEs pilot sites, in order to effectively implement energy management techniques and instruments (M&T, M&V) and achieve validated energy savings.

  • Coordination of the E&T Program Design

  • Acreditation of a long life learning program (10 ECTS) in Romania
  • Participation in creating the SMEmPower Tool for Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) and Measurement & Verification (M&V)
  • Delivery of the E&T programme with an integrated approach; using the energy management web platform and portal, focusing on use of M&T and M&V energy analytics tools and on practical action in pilot sites.
  • Delivery of short trainings to SME decision makers, group according to their specificities, during the practical action in pilot sites, using the trained professionals and instructors.
  • Bringing together SME decision makers and relevant stakeholders, mainly from financing entities, in targeted workshops, to accelerate implementation of proposed energy saving measures.
